What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Avir at Gonzales?
We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team! The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitary conditions throughout the entire facility in compliance with the Department of Health Standards under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager. Will work closely with facility Administrators and staff to maintain a safe, home-like atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Clean resident rooms, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and other common areas.
Sweep and mops floors. Dusts furniture and equipment.
Wash walls and woodwork.
Wash windows, door panels, and windowsills
Empty trash and waste in the disposal area.
Replenish supplies in resident suites, on housekeeping carts, and throughout the facility as required.
Qualifications:
Previous nursing home experience preferred
