Responsibilities:
Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to facility standards
Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines
Monitor and maintain laundry supplies, including soap, bleach, and fabric softener
Deliver clean laundry to residents' rooms and common areas
Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including the sorting room, washroom, and drying room
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient laundry operation
Adhere to facility policies and procedures related to laundry, hygiene, and infection control
Requirements:
1 year of experience in a similar role or related field (training provided)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
