Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and service of meals and snacks to residents, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
- Maintain accurate records of food intake, preferences, and allergies for residents
- Participate in menu planning and special event planning to enhance the dining experience
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area, kitchen, and storage spaces
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or designee
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in a dietary setting, preferably in a long-term care facility
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
