Join Our In-House Subacute Rehabilitation Team!
AVIR at Brownwood is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. We are currently hiring for Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities.
Position Responsibilities
Provide quality physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Implement individualized treatment plans based on residents’ needs and goals.
Assist residents with improving strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
Document treatments and resident progress accurately and timely.
Collaborate with the Physical Therapist, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team.
Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of care.
Qualifications
Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or long-term care is preferred.
Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.
