Position Summary
The Quality Technician / Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring products and assemblies meet customer specifications, aerospace standards, and internal quality requirements. This position will support inspection activities, documentation control, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
This role may be filled at either the Technician or Engineer level depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities

Perform and support:
- First Article Inspections (FAI)
- In-process inspections
- Final inspections
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and customer requirements
- Generate and maintain quality documentation and inspection records
- Assist with AS9100 compliance and quality system maintenance
- Conduct root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Support nonconformance reporting and disposition processes
- Verify dimensional and visual conformity of machined, fabricated, and assembled components
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and program management teams
- Support calibration and inspection equipment control
- Participate in continuous improvement and process audits
- Interface with customers and suppliers regarding quality matters when required
Qualifications
Quality Technician Level
Required
- 5 years of manufacturing or inspection experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings and basic GD&T

Experience using precision measuring tools:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height gauges
- Indicators
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Preferred
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems
- Experience with FAIR documentation (AS9102)
Quality Engineer Level
Required

Bachelor’s degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Quality Engineering
- Or related field
- 3 years of aerospace or precision manufacturing quality experience

Strong knowledge of:
- GD&T
- Root cause analysis
- Corrective actions
- Quality systems
Preferred
- AS9100 experience
- CMM experience
- Internal auditing experience
- Knowledge of aerospace customer quality requirements
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
