Avion Solutions Inc., a 100% employee-owned company, seeks candidates for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS SW Development Team Product Owner (PO) to support PAE Fires. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

- Prioritize and validate the development of software for the TIS team.
- Identify and classify tracks in the C2 (Command and Control) software.
- Review and understand Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, and provide guidance to the development team.
- Work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint.
- The position will include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the mission.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics required.
- Minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience required.
- Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
- Understand CID (Classification, Identification, and Discrimination) used in C2 systems, including IFF, ADS-B, Air Tasking Orders, and NCTR.
- Must have the ability to provide oversight to the development team and verify the team's work based on agreed-upon acceptance criteria, including attending code reviews.
- Must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.
- Knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiarity with current CID measures in one or more of the DoD services.
- Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team.
