Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Mission Test Administrator Associate to support SMDC. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

- Lead geographically dispersed teams with multiple efforts simultaneously.
- Respond to documented user requirements and author test plans in support of range tests.
- Review user requirements documentation; design, define, and document mission test plans; transform test plans into test scripts and execute those scripts.
- Conduct risk analysis and provide risk mitigation solutions for mission execution.
- Serve on console to support real-time flight test execution in multiple operator positions.
- Directs range tests with some supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related STEM discipline.
- Experience with real-time flight-test execution in a Major Range and Test Facility Base environment.
- Good organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment to perform duties with little supervision.
- The ability to travel to Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands on a limited basis is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport for travel.
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with Ronald Reagan Space & Missile Test Range (RTR) and/or DoD programs and processes.
- Experience with real-time flight-test execution in a Major Range and Test Facility Base environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks.Strong written and oral communication skills.
