Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for a Logistics Management Specialist to support the Utility Helicopter Project Manager Office. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

- Provide integrated support in Statement of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statement (PWS) Development and review.
- Provide performance-based logistics planning for new and/or modified LUH systems.
- Provide input, analysis, and recommendations for Life Cycle Support Plans, Material Fielding Plans, and Logistics Management.
- Provide input and advice for disposition and/or acquisition of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
- Coordinate with LUH Fleet Management to develop and prioritize fielding plans.
- Converse professionally and directly OEM Manufacturer Airbus Helicopter International (AHI).
- Work closely with the Business Development Division by analyzing documentation and providing input for fact-finding efforts.
- Provide input and assistance in Technical Evaluation Development and Publication.
- Provide input, advice, and analysis while attending Government Article Testing (GAT) events.
- Attend meetings and provide input to improve functionality and effort outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BS/BA and seven (7) years of experience or a HSD and 10 years of experience.
- Minimum of 10 yrs. programmatic and/or logistics experience.
- Strong Army Acquisition Logistics and/or Aviation Branch experience in key functional areas such as Operator Quality Control (QC), Production Control (PC), repair shops, and maintenance teams.
- Expert-level experience with Excel and Access.
- Experience with Time Before Overhaul (TBO).
- Aviation aircraft/major weapon system maintenance, recognition, and readiness.
- Strong written and oral communication skills (memorandums, briefs, familiarization with DoD policy),
- Must be a US Citizen and have an active Secret Security Clearance
- Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time. US travel only.
- Experience developing Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP).
- Quality Control or Production Control background is a plus.
- Life Cycle Logistics Planning and Programmatics.
- Statement of Work (SOW)/Performance Work Statement (PWS) Review and Development.
- Ability to multi-task; and prioritize internal and external tasks/projections.
