Engineers and Analysts - MDA, IFMC, and PEO M&S

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking Engineers and Analysts for openings with several customers, including the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Program Executive Office (PEO) Missiles and Space, and the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC). These positions will be located in Huntsville, Alabama, but may also be based in other locations such as Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Dahlgren and Fort Belvoir, Virginia. These positions are contingent upon award.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

Job responsibilities may include one or more of the following areas:

• Support systems engineering, including requirements development, conduct of major reviews, independent verification and validation, and compliance assessment.
• Support flight and ground testing, including test planning, data product development, pre-test predictions, sensor utilization planning, coordination with test participants, on-site support, and post-test data analysis.
• Support test target and countermeasure activities, including target requirements, design reviews, compliance assessment, signature characterization, modeling and simulation, trajectories, and fielding.
• Perform modeling and simulation in support of complex system performance assessment.
• Perform mission and quality assurance functions in support of interceptor and sensor development and fielding.
• Perform cyber security functions in support of facility and system operations.
• Support digital and model-based systems engineering of hardware system design and development.
• Support Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) development and sustainment.
• Support advanced radar systems development and acquisition.
• Perform threat analysis, documentation modeling, and simulation.
• Support missile defense future architectures trade-offs, development, and insertion.
  
  

Required Experience:

• Required technical experience will vary depending on the position.
• Familiarity with DOD, MDA, PEO M&S, and/or IFMC processes and procedures.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and will have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Up to 25% of travel may be required depending on the position.
