What are the responsibilities and job description for the C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst position at Avion Solutions, Inc.?

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for a C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

Working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding.
Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists.
Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration.
Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution.
Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners.
Support and interact with high-level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office, and deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment (on demand).
Develop reports, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and 20 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree and 12 years of experience.
Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines.
Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements.
Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS.
Experience in cost, schedule, and performance management for a space-based program and/or a DoD.
Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.

Preferred Qualifications:

MDA experience.
