- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage guest relations by responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements efficiently in a fine dining or nightclub setting.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, adhere to sanitation protocols, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub exposure.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- Demonstrated culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation processes.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
