Housekeeping:
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions in common areas and resident rooms, as assigned: sweep/mop floors, wash/sanitize surfaces, dust, discard trash, clean windows/mirrors
- Deep clean resident rooms after discharges and/or prior to new admissions
- Assist with room changes as needed
- Demonstrate ability to clean and sanitize areas of responsibility consistent with facility policy and procedure.
- Attend all facility and department in-service training.
- Work in cooperation with all other employees of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and staff.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety program at all times.
- Fulfill all other assigned duties by department head or facility Administrator
- Collect, sort, wash and dry soiled laundry, including resident personal laundry.
- Fold, stack, hang and distribute clean linen and resident personal clothing to designated areas
- Label new clothing for residents
- Attend all facility and department in-service training.
- Work in cooperation with all other employees of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and staff.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety program at all times.
- Fulfill all other assigned duties by department head or facility Administrator.
