What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Services Agent position at Avila La Fonda Hotel?
We are looking for a Front Desk Agent with the skills and motivation to join our team. Guests come to this romantic, intimate, privately owned, boutique hotel to relax and enjoy the town, the beach, and the hotel. We are looking for people who are friendly and outgoing, with a contagious smile.
Hospitality experience is always a plus, however, not mandatory. We are looking to hire solid employees with open availability.
Duties include:
Providing guests with assistance, and information in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner
Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, and amenities
Handle guest check ins and check outs appropriately
Take reservation requests efficiently over the phone, through email and in person
Answer telephone in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette
Performing additional duties as required
Host daily guest receptions, Light Food Preparation for our daily receptions

Morning - 6:30 AM - 3 PM
Middle - 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Closing - 2:30 PM - 11 PM

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
