Avidity IP is looking for a new Trainee / Junior Patent Administrator.
Location: Remote based
Overall Purpose
To provide administration and specialist legal support to our patent support team and patent attorneys. To deliver a professional, responsive and high quality service to our clients by ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures laid out by the Firm.

Key Accountabilities
- Email management and processing incoming correspondence
- Preparing attorney due date reports, diary management
- Sending reminders for due dates
- Preparing UK, EP & PCT applications for filing, together with post filing formalities
- Preparing draft correspondence to clients, official bodies and overseas patent attorneys
- Use the case management system to create new patent files
- Make necessary updates to the case management system
- Ensure case files are populated with correspondence
- Ensure docket and official fees are recorded in a timely manner
- Obtaining information from IP related databases
- Preparing cost estimates
- Assist with post processing
- Provide administration and case management support to attorneys/support staff
- Contribute to the team environment by supporting and assisting team members
- Office facilities – report and remedy issues within the office environment
- Monitor and order stationery supplies
- Monitor and order photocopier supplies and arrange services/call outs as needed
- Organise meetings, travel and lunches (as and when required)
- Organise couriers
