What are the responsibilities and job description for the Messenger position at AVIDD Community Services of NJ?
Office Messenger
Hours: Tuesday & Thursday, 9a - 3p (approximately).
- Messenger between Main Office (Denville) to all programs in Bergen, Morris & Somerset counties.
- This includes interoffice mail, boxes of supplies & equipment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Monitor the vehicle performance and notify the Main Office of any issues, needed repairs, etc.
- Monitor vehicle gas levels and ensure vehicle is adequately fueled before each departure.
- Must be trustworthy, reliable and have an excellent driving record.
- Must be adaptable to perform under stress when confronted with an emergency.
Rate of Pay: $18-$20 per hour.
