Important Details
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 12pm, approximately 20 hours a week
- Position Duration: Training begins May 30. Programs run from Jun 8 through August 7.
- Compensation: Pay is determined based on position, additional responsibilities, relevant certifications, and staff tenure. Starting Rate: $23.00/hour
- Relevant Certification Bonuses:
- $200 for Teaching License/Master's in Education
- $200 for IMBA/ICP
- $100 - $400 for other advanced certifications!
- Co-lead daily outdoor programming helping aspiring cyclists ages three and a half to six learn the joys of self-sufficient cycling in our half-day camp
- Safety is key!! You will be responsible for risk management and teaching our campers how to recreate safely
- You are a role model for our campers; you will demonstrate and guide campers in appropriate behavior, attitudes, and activities
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents and all participants in our programs
- Opportunity to substitute from time to time during our regular adventure programming. Activities include mountain biking, outdoor rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, and/or SUPing - plus camp games!
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of camp for all positions
- 1 years of experience working with kids in a professional or volunteer setting preferred
- Experience with kids ages 3-6 in a personal, professional or volunteer setting strongly preferred
- Personal biking experience recommended, but not required
- Minimum of Basic First Aid, CPR, and Mandatory Reporter certification by the start of camp (and we can point you in the right direction to get this done!!)
