What are the responsibilities and job description for the Miscellaneous & Ornamental Iron Detailer position at Avid Ironworks Inc?
Avid Ironworks is seeking an experienced Miscellaneous Metals & Ornamental Iron Detailer with a strong technical background in the detailing of custom stair systems, architectural railings, and miscellaneous structural and ornamental metal fabrications.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of steel fabrication, connection design coordination, shop drawing development, field installation requirements, and the practical considerations involved in taking a project from approved construction documents through fabrication and installation.
This position requires a detailer who understands not only how to produce accurate drawings, but also how metal assemblies are laid out, fabricated, welded, finished, shipped, and installed in the field. The successful candidate will be capable of independently detailing complex projects, identifying potential conflicts before they reach the shop, and coordinating effectively with project managers.

Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
