We are currently looking for a front desk agent to join our busy and professional team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner
- Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and location
- Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner
- Check guests out, including resolving any late or disputed charges
- Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management
- Take action to solve guest problems/complaints
- Book guests reservations for individuals and/or groups
- Process cancellations, revisions and information updates on reservations
- Work as part of team and communicate with other departments to ensure quality service
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: High School diploma/Secondary qualification or equivalent
- One year front desk/guest service experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Hotel Key is preferred
- Strong communication skills essential
Requirements: Frequently standing up behind desk and front office areas
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Handling objects, products and computer equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Availability to Work Weekends
