Guest Service Agent

Job Type: Part time with potential for full time opportunities

Schedule: Primarily breakfast morning shifts (7:00 AM–12:00 PM or 7:00 AM–3:00 PM), including weekdays and weekends. Flexible availability for evening and overnight shifts is required. Weekends and holidays may be required.

Your day to day

Check in/check out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner; process all payments according to established procedures.

• Check guests in and out in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
• Assist with breakfast preparation, food replenishment, service, cleaning, and restocking.
• Process reservations, payments, cash transactions, and daily front desk reports accurately.
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel laundry throughout the shift, especially during slower front desk periods.
• Assist with breakfast preparation, food replenishment, service, cleaning, and restocking.
• Maintain cleanliness of the hotel lobby, public restrooms, breakfast area, and common areas.
• Stock guest amenities, market merchandise, coffee stations, and housekeeping supplies.
• Complete assigned daily checklists and communicate important updates between shifts.
• Assist with additional front desk and night audit responsibilities as trained and scheduled.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

• Welcome guests with a positive, professional attitude.
• Answer phones, assist with reservations, and provide information about hotel services.
• Recognize and enroll guests in IHG One Rewards when appropriate.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and care.
• Work as a team while also being capable of completing tasks independently.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and proactively assist wherever needed.

What we need from you

• We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and willing to work.
• Previous hotel, customer service, breakfast, or laundry experience preferred.
• Strong laundry skills and willingness to consistently assist with laundry duties are essential.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain physically active for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer, communication, and cash handling skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while supporting team goals.
• Dependable attendance, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
• Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasional evening or overnight shifts.
