Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are hygienic, well-organized, and inviting. This role is essential in providing guests with a comfortable and pleasant stay, contributing to the hotel's reputation for excellence in hospitality. Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services, especially within hotel or hospitality environments, is highly valued.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as towels and toiletries
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and perform floor care to maintain a polished appearance
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to ensure a dust-free environment
• Perform deep cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, window washing, and upholstery care as needed
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and public spaces to ensure availability for guests and staff
• Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management for prompt resolution
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within hotels or similar hospitality settings is preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing floors
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture if necessary
• Prior experience in hospitality or custodial management is advantageous but not required

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
