Hotel Front Desk Clerk

Come to work at the newest hotel in Hays! We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A background in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations.
• Provide information about local attractions, services, and hotel amenities.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process payments and maintain cash handling procedures.
• Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring a high level of guest service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus.
• Strong guest relations skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• A commitment to providing outstanding guest services in a dynamic environment.
