We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our laundry services, particularly in a hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to ensure timely processing of laundry items.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established procedures.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to meet laundry demands and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling laundry equipment and chemicals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with laundry equipment operation, including washing machines and dryers.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various fabrics and materials is a plus.
- Hotel experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
