Avid Auto Detailing is looking for a hardworking, detail-focused Automotive Detailer who takes pride in their work and cares about quality. This is not just a basic wash job. We are looking for someone who can deliver high-level results, represent the brand well, and help create a great experience for every customer.
This is a commission-based position with no cap, so this role is best for someone who is confident in their skills, moves with urgency, and wants to earn based on performance. Jobs are done in house and mobile in our van.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing high-quality interior and exterior vehicle details
- Washing, decontaminating, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing, buffing, waxing, and dressing vehicles to a high standard
- Cleaning glass, wheels, tires, door jambs, trim, and all interior surfaces with attention to detail
- Applying protective products and finishing touches that improve the overall presentation of the vehicle
- Inspecting your work before delivery to make sure vehicles meet Avid Auto Detailing standards
- Keeping the shop, tools, and work area clean, organized, and professional
- Communicating well with the team and helping create a smooth customer experience
- Assisting with other shop-related tasks when needed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience with automotive detailing and vehicle cleaning
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, consistent work
- A solid work ethic and the ability to stay productive without being micromanaged
- A professional attitude and good customer service skills
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- The ability to safely move and handle customer vehicles
Plus if you have experience with:
Experience in other automotive appearance or restyling services is a big plus, including:
- Paint Protection Film (PPF)
- Window tint
- Ceramic coating
- Headliner starlights
- Ambient lighting
- Vinyl wraps
- Minor paint correction or polishing work
Even if you are not an expert in all of these, having experience in any of them makes you a stronger candidate.
Compensation
