Pest Control Technician

Duties

• Perform inspections of residential and commercial properties for pest, rodent, and termite activity
• Identify entry points, nesting areas, and conducive conditions
• Apply treatments for general pests (ants, roaches, spiders, etc.) using proper methods
• Set and monitor rodent control systems (traps, bait stations, exclusion work)
• Perform termite treatments (liquid barriers, bait systems, spot treatments)
• Seal entry points on the roof
• Safely handle and apply pesticides according to label and regulations
• Educate customers on prevention and maintenance
• Maintain accurate service reports notation
• Drive company vehicle and manage daily route efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE

Skills

• Experience in pest control, rodent control, or termite work (preferred but not required if training available)
• Knowledge of common pests and treatment methods
• Ability to identify signs of infestation (droppings, damage, trails, etc.)
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, roofs, and tight areas
• Basic handyman skills (sealing holes, installing traps, minor repairs)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle physical work

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
