The ID Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the airport badging and identification process in full compliance with Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company, airport authorities, and employees to ensure timely issuance, renewal, and maintenance of airport credentials required for operational access.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail to ensure all records, applications, and compliance documentation are accurate, complete, and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
ID Processing & Compliance:
- Manage internal and external ID applications through the airport badging process.
- Ensure all applications meet MDAD and CBP compliance standards.
- Track and document ID issuance, renewals, and expirations.
Communication & Coordination:
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with employees and external applicants.
- Serve as the key contact for airport authorities regarding ID requirements.
- Provide timely updates on application status and address any issues.
Reporting & Record-Keeping:
- Generate and submit weekly ID status reports.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for compliance audits.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain and safeguard sensitive documentation related to airport credentials.
- Support the People & Operations Team as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience & Education
- High School or equivalent education required.
- Experience in airport ID administration or a related administrative role preferred.
- Understanding of MDAD and CBP badging processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Skills & Abilities
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing systems. The noise level is typical of an office setting. Frequent interruptions may occur throughout the workday.
Physical Demands
