- Provide academic and practical instruction on C-5 loadmaster duties, including cargo loading, restraint, weight and balance, and airdrop operations
- Operate Cargo Load Trainers, Fuselage Trainers, and other training devices as required
- Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and complete required training documentation
- Support development and improvement of training materials, safety practices, and instructional techniques
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
The following are the requisite education and/or experience required to qualify for the position as a C-5 Loadmaster Instructor.
- Previous qualified as a C-5 Instructor Loadmaster.
- Flight experience: o 1,000 C-5 flight hours, or o 500 C-5 flight hours and 1,200 total flight hours (TFT) in mobility aircraft.
- Minimum of 200 C-5 loadmaster instructor hours.
- Associates degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
