Position Overview
GSO Aviation, Inc. provides component MRO services for pneumatic, fuel, electro-mechanical, and hydraulic systems installed on today's most popular commercial aircraft with a focus on quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
We’re looking for an experienced Electromechanical Technician to support the repair and overhaul of aircraft electrical and mechanical components within our FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and test electromechanical aircraft components
- Work with motors, relays, switches, solenoids, and control units
- Perform functional testing using appropriate test equipment
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability records
- Support inspection and quality requirements
Qualifications
- Experience with electromechanical systems in aviation or related industry
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and diagnostic tools
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
Preferred Experience
- Component/accessory repair shop background
- FAA Part 145 experience
- Exposure to EASA or international approvals (a plus)
- A&P or FCC License (not required but beneficial)
