Position Description
The software analyst performing this role will perform the following:
- Support software and system analysis activities across multiple teams.
- Perform data analysis using tools such as Python, MATLAB, Excel, or similar analytical tools.
- Assist with requirements analysis and review to ensure traceability and alignment with expected behavior.
- Support code analysis / software behavior analysis as needed to assist with technical assessments and issue investigation.
- Review and verify technical documentation, software-related artifacts, and supporting engineering materials.
- Support test execution activities, including procedure review, results capture, and discrepancy identification.
- Assist with identifying, documenting, and tracking software anomalies, incidents, and discrepancies.
- Draft incident reports, issue summaries, and technical documentation to support team activities.
- Support technical reviews, team meetings, and follow-up actions as required.
- Maintain organized analysis records and supporting documentation.

- Position is full-time on-site: telework unavailable.
- Familiarity with Excel, C , and Python or MATLAB.
- Experience analyzing data for trends and discrepancies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to clearly document technical findings and communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to support software, systems, and test-related efforts in a structured program environment.
- Resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate.
- Good people skills and the desire to work with a highly technical team of engineers and scientists.

- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from an ABET- accredited university.
- Graduating GPA of 3.5
- Must be able to travel up to 10-15% of the year.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
- Citizenship: Candidate must be a US only citizen.
- Clearance level: possess (and be able to maintain) a SECRET Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a SECRET Clearance.
