About The Role
As an Operations Technician in the Paint Shop, you’ll support aircraft manufacturing and composite painting operations in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll work alongside experienced team members who are committed to training and mentoring individuals eager to learn and grow.
This is not a mechanical role — it is a painting-focused position within the composite shop. Candidates with painting experience are encouraged to apply, but a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are most important.

Pay Details: $19.29 per hour

What You’ll Do
- Must have painting experience
- Learn to read work orders, blueprints, and specification sheets
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Support team operations with a collaborative, “jump in and help” attitude
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices throughout the shop
- Grow your skills and responsibilities as experience is gained
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer and keyboard skills
- Ability to read a scale and perform basic shop math
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Positive, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Must be available to work any shift
- Ability to lift and transport up to 40 pounds
- Enrollment in a Technical Aviation program preferred
- Previous painting experience preferred
- Experience working in manufacturing, production, or hands-on environments is a plus
