Job description
Aviation Charters is seeking to hire a highly motivated operations professional for our Trenton Mercer Airport NJ location. The primary responsibility of our Operations Scheduler is to determine the specific needs of each customer and tailor a bespoke experience for each flight.
Position Responsibilities:
· Managing trips from the time added to schedule to post flight follow up
· Confirm all aircraft scheduled and operated within FAA regulations and limitations.
· Keeping clear and concise calendar and notes
· Monitor flight status and proactively address any disruptions or issues to minimize impact on clients.
· Flight Following and logistical coordination
· Coordinating trips with relevant authorities (operators, customs, FBO’s, etc.)
· Coordinate flight activities including catering, ground transportation, aircraft handling, and arrange for landing permits and customs for international flights
· Communicates with brokers, aircraft owners, and passengers.
· Maintains open communication between flight crews and maintenance as necessary.
· Ability to work and problem-solve independently
· Prepare and present charter flight proposals for in-fleet aircraft, tailored to the specific needs and preferences of clients.
· Assist sales department in facilitating outsourced charter sales and bookings
· Keeping current on all company policies and procedures
· Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
· Must be able to work flexible shifts including, weekends, nights and holidays to meet our clients’ needs.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy and ability to multi-task effectively
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate
· Excellent verbal and written communication. Attention to tone and grammar
· Responsible, creative and highly motivated
· A proactive and creative way of dealing with challenges as they arise
· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality of all client and customer information
Education and Experience:
· Experience in customer service
· Plus, previous experience of part 135 & 91 operations
· College degree a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
