Staffing Coordinator - Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care

As a Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our nursing staff by completing daily schedules, staffing sheets, and interacting with employees to cover daily staffing requirements. You will also secure coverage for vacant shifts, open positions, vacations, and maintain accurate records of nursing hours and PPD requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily schedules for the Nursing Staff
• Complete daily staffing sheets
• Interact with employees to cover daily staffing requirements
• Secure coverage for vacant shifts, open positions, vacations, and maintain accurate records
• Prepare and complete daily nursing hours report for Executive Director/LNHA
• Calculate nursing hours daily to meet PPD requirements and maintain a log
• Communicate with admissions on daily basis for census and admission/discharge status
• Review daily punch detail report and identify trends
• Provide innovative, responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and concepts
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
• Minimum one year of experience in long term care or medical settings preferred
• Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
