About the Role: The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Microwave (MW) Network deployment projects at XL Axiata. This includes overseeing the entire process from conceptualization to planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks throughout the project lifecycle, making necessary adjustments to maintain successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership & Strategy:
  1. Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
  2. Develop comprehensive program plans, including detailed roadmaps, resource allocation, budget forecasts, and risk management strategies.
  3. Lead and mentor multiple project managers and cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Execution & Delivery:
  1. Oversee the end-to-end execution of complex telecommunications programs, which may include:
    • New product/service development and launch.
    • Vendor management and contract negotiation for large-scale projects.
  2. Monitor program progress, track key milestones, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  3. Implement robust change management processes to adapt to evolving requirements and market dynamics.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication:
  1. Act as the primary point of contact for all program-related communications, providing regular updates to executive leadership, internal teams, and external partners.
  2. Manage expectations and resolve conflicts among diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  3. Facilitate effective communication channels to ensure transparency and alignment across all program participants.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
  1. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, developing contingency plans to minimize impact on program objectives.
  2. Implement corrective actions and escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Financial Management:
  1. Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
  2. Conduct financial forecasting and reporting.
  • Quality & Compliance:
  1. Ensure all program deliverables meet defined quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations, local laws, and company policies in Indonesia.
  2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within program management processes.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Candidate should have an Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 10-15 Years of Experience in the field of telecommunications.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering multiple large-scale, complex programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, team building, and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and collaboration tools.
  • Deep understanding of program management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • The ability to provide solutions and guidance to service teams to run the project more smoothly.
  • Solution approach leading to Win-Win for company and customers.
