Laundry Attendant

Job Description Summary: Aviagen is seeking a qualified candidate to fill our position for laundry attendant. Job Description: The following duties will vary according to the needs of the department. Normal duties will include: • Maintain a determined supply of clothing for department • Wash and sort all department clothing • Wash and sort farm contract clothing • Discard torn clothing and replace it with new clothing as needed • Stock employee lockers with appropriate clothing • Sweep, mop, and disinfect crew areas during wash cycles • Dry and fold clothing as needed • Other duties as determined by manager The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted • Good communication and organizational skills • Must be able to work well alone and in teams • Detail-oriented and self-motivated We play a leading role in feeding the world's future generations.
