AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Full-time Warehouse Supervisor. This position typically works Monday - Friday but may be required to work Saturday mornings. Our branch is located in Erie, PA.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
- Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economic running of the Warehouse
- Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
- Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
- Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
- Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
- Conduct Inventory counts
- Order warehouse supplies when needed
- Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a warehouse or in a shipping/receiving role
- Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred
- Light maintenance experience preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Outgoing, personable, and ability to communicate with all levels of a company
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
