Job Summary:
Avflight operates a network of strategically located full-service FBOs on two continents. At each Avflight FBO patrons receive aircraft and customer care provided by hand-selected, experienced aviation professionals. Our customers range from cargo and freight companies to executive jets and their discerning passengers, from small aircraft to large charter operations. This position will support the Accounting team with cash application, trouble-shooting discrepancies, invoicing and following up outstanding aging reports.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cash application and batch reconciliation, with strong emphasis on problem solving
- Airline invoicing and customer pricing
- Work closely with each Avflight location to facilitate collection activities
- Making customer service calls and assisting with billing concerns
- Data entry utilizing Excel and Accounting software
- Associated filing
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent experience
- 2 years comparable Accounts Receivable work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems
- Familiarity with accounting software systems is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Process driven with a high degree of integrity and ethics
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication
- Demonstrated high level of organization and attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Ability to handle changing priorities and multi-tasking
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
