What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Staff pilot - MRO / Customer support - Daher TBM position at Avex Aviation?
The full time staff pilot for Avex at our BJC facility serves not only as a customer facing representaive of the Daher TBM Sales and Service center, but also as an integeral team member ensuring the timely test fliying and delivery of customer aircraft to and from the maintenance center.
Responsibilities
· Post-maintenance operational check flights following A, B, and C inspections (including Annual inspections)
· Concierge aircraft repositioning to and from maintenance facilities
· Aircraft delivery flights to customer-desired locations
· Sales demonstration flights for potential customers
· Delivery flights for completed aircraft sales
· Mentor pilot services for aircraft owners
· AOG (Aircraft on Ground) rescue operations
· Owner services flights as professional pilot
· Company personnel transportation using Avex aircraft
· Pilot positioning flights to support operations
· Preparation of accurate flight reports and maintenance documentation
· Training and mentoring of company contract pilots as needed
Qualifications
· FAA Commercial ASEL (required); ATP strongly preferred
· Instrument rating (required)
· 2,500 hours total time (3,000 preferred)
· 100 hours in TBM-series aircraft (250 preferred)
· High-performance turboprop experience
· Experience with operational check flights or maintenance flight operations (preferred)
· Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate documentation
· Flexibility to travel on short notice and adapt to changing schedules
