Job Title: Power Management & Automation Commissioning Engineer Location: ETAP Dhahran Saudi Employment Type: full-time The job Lead the commissioning, testing, and validation of Power Management Systems (PMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Power Plant Controllers (PPC), Microgrid Controllers (MGC), Key responsibilities Lead the commissioning and configuration of Power Management Systems (PMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Power Plant Controllers (PPC), and Microgrid Controllers (MGC) Implement and tune PPC controller. Configure and commission Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) control including SOC management, charge/discharge scheduling, and hybrid dispatch optimization. Design, implement, and commission Power Automation systems for Oil & Gas, Industrial, and Utility applications. Program and configure PLC/RTU systems for power management applications. Prepare, coordinate, and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with equipment manufacturers Lead Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) as per approved client formats and procedures Essential requirements Configure and test multiple communication protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP, IEC 61850 (MMS, GOOSE), DNP3, and IEC 60870-5-101/103/104. Implement cybersecurity measures as per IEC 62351 and industry best practices Software Tool hands on experience on multiple software platform such as Codesys, IEC 61131 PLC Tools.
