We are seeking an EMC Team Lead to lead and develop our EMC testing team in Lexington, KY. This is a people-first leadership role, ideal for someone who is passionate about developing teams, driving cultural change, and improving operational performance.
The successful candidate will oversee a team of three engineers, with plans to grow the team to five or six. While EMC experience would be advantageous, it is not essential—the business is open to candidates from broader engineering, manufacturing or TIC backgrounds who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and develop the EMC engineering teamDrive a positive culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvementManage scheduling and resource planning to ensure engineers are effectively utilisedSupport career development, performance management and mentoring of team membersLead recruitment activities, including interviewing and onboarding new employeesAct as a key point of contact for customers and support customer relationship managementIdentify and implement process improvements across the departmentSupport the planned growth of the team from three to six employees
Candidate Profile3–5 years' professional experience within engineering, manufacturing, testing or a related technical environmentStrong leadership qualities with a genuine desire to manage and develop peoplePrevious formal leadership experience is not essential—candidates looking to step into their first leadership role are encouragedExperience within EMC testing is preferred but not requiredExperience within the TIC industry is advantageous but not essentialEngineering or manufacturing background would be highly desirableExperience with Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Continuous Improvement (CI) or operational excellence methodologies is beneficialStrong organisational, communication and customer-facing skillsSomeone who can challenge existing ways of working and successfully lead cultural change
