Concierge

Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional, personable, and detail-oriented Concierge to join our team. As the first point of contact for residents and visitors, this role is integral to maintaining the security, efficiency, and exceptional service standards of our luxury building. The Concierge will report directly to the Resident Manager and/or Property Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Resident Relations:

• Build strong relationships with residents to foster a sense of community and satisfaction
• Greet residents and visitors warmly and assist with inquiries and requests.
• Provide personalized recommendations and assistance with dining, shopping, entertainment, and other leisure activities.
• Organize and coordinate various resident services, including housekeeping, maintenance, transportation, and event planning.

Administrative Support:

• Log maintenance requests and manage records of resident requests, deliveries, and special instructions.
• Facilitate smooth shift turnovers by sharing key information and ensuring an orderly workspace.

Security and Access Control:

• Monitor building access and ensure all visitors are announced and authorized.
• Log and handle guest access through BuildingLink and enforce building security policies.

Lobby Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean, neat, and welcoming front desk and lobby environment.
• Coordinate with porters to ensure the lobby, elevators, and building entrances are clean and well-maintained.

Elevator Assistance:

• Monitor elevator operations to ensure all cars are functioning properly.
• Assist residents and guests with elevator use, including securing service elevators for moves, deliveries, or maintenance.
• Log and report any elevator malfunctions in BuildingLink and notify the appropriate service provider.

Emergency and Safety Management:

• Monitor security cameras and address any suspicious activity promptly.
• Follow established protocols for emergency situations, including contacting management or emergency services as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in luxury hospitality, customer service, or concierge roles.
• Proficiency in BuildingLink or similar property management systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.33 per hour
