What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Driver Associate position at Avery Oil Company?
We are looking for a warehouse laborer to help drive the continued success of Avery Oil by assisting with our warehouse operations and activities. This position also includes being a hot shot driver when needed so a valid drivers license is a must.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, store)
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Have full mobility and the ability to work with your hands above your head
- Can stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs
- Current forklift license
- Class B CDL and Hazmat Endorsement
- Tanker Endorsement Preferred
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
