Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Commercial Insurance Producer to expand our Property & Casualty book of business. This is a true sales role, ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven ability to develop strong client relationships. The Commercial Producer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, advising clients, and closing deals, all while being supported by a dedicated team that helps you win bigger and faster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, network, and develop new commercial insurance opportunities across New England and beyond.
- Advise clients by understanding their risks, recommending coverage, and providing trusted solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle - from lead generation to closing and onboarding new clients.
- Partner with Avery’s dedicated Placement Team to strategize carrier appetite, submissions, and underwriting.
- Leverage exclusive programs, carrier relationships, and in-house resources to compete at the highest level.
- Collaborate with account managers, claims advocacy, and marketing to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Represent Avery’s brand of concierge-level service in all client and community interactions.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of insurance sales experience.
- Demonstrated success in building client relationships and closing new business.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to grow, win, and achieve top producer status.
- Desire for a long-term career home in a stable, family-owned agency.
- Licensed in Property & Casualty (or ability to obtain).
