Purpose:
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for executing preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on brewing equipment and facilities in a safe and organized manner. This position supports brewery operations from Monday-Friday, 8am – 4pm. While the focus of this position is the brewing equipment, our maintenance team are first responders to facilities, HVAC, and kitchen needs.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of pumps, motors, valves, and control systems
- Experienced with Lock out tag out procedures and appropriate PPE
- Ability to read electrical drawings, building blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Willingness to take on unfamiliar and challenging situations
- Understand and troubleshoot electrical and controls equipment down to component level
- Understanding of industrial wastewater treatment sampling and reporting (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance (preferred)
- TIG welding and metalworking (preferred)
- HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance (preferred)
- Perform preventative maintenance on brewing equipment and contribute to the improvement of the preventative maintenance program
- Diagnose and repair brewing/packaging equipment
- Identify and perform improvement projects
- Inventory upkeep and documentation of critical spare parts on facility wide systems
- Communicate effectively with operators, management, and equipment manufacturers
- Record work performed in work order system
- Perform general facilities maintenance: plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting
- Prioritize and complete repair jobs in an unsupervised environment
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 60lbs, stand, squat, and work in hot or cold or humid environments for an extended period
- Availability for unplanned emergency repairs
- Physically and mentally able to work in tight spaces and in close quarters with others
