Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory & Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing data entry processes, and ensuring seamless database operations. Your technical proficiency and strong organizational skills will contribute to optimizing our inventory management system and supporting overall operational efficiency. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in data management, ERP systems, and administrative support within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Accurately input and update inventory data into various database systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to ensure real-time accuracy.
  • Manage product information, stock levels, and order details through meticulous data entry in Excel and other productivity software.
  • Conduct regular data collection activities, including verifying inventory counts and recording discrepancies for resolution.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and data analysis tools to generate reports and identify trends for inventory optimization.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for physical records and digital files, ensuring quick retrieval of information when needed.
  • Perform order entry tasks with precision, including processing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and updating order statuses.
  • Support clerical tasks such as filing, transcription, basic math calculations, and maintaining office supplies to streamline daily operations.

Experience

  • Proven experience with data entry in Excel, including the use of pivot tables and data analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with database systems, ERP software, or inventory management platforms is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and productivity software.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous clerical or administrative experience involving filing, record keeping, or office support is advantageous.
  • Basic math skills necessary for accurate data entry and order processing tasks.
  • Experience with 10-key typing or transcription work is a plus but not required.
