What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accident Intake Coordinator position at Averitt?

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to answer and maintain our accident phone line. In this role you will provide front-line support to our associates, taking detailed notes from the conversation and processing each call with urgency and calmness.
About the position:
- Monday - Friday; 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.
- The position's main focus is to answer our internal accident phone line
- Taking initial vehicle incident calls
- Setting up claims
- Completing necessary steps based on the severity of the incident
- This position will also train to handle level one claims which will require to be handle in a timely & efficient manner.
- Using data and video taken from the drivers Smart Drive device for the investigation

Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Experience in one of these fields: auto insurance, law enforcement, or legal
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
