Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position (36 hours per week) in the Wound Care Department for an Administrative Assistant. Administrative Assistant Responsibilities: The WOC Administrative Assistant performs diverse and secretarial and nursing assistant duties in an accurate and timely fashion. Coordinates schedules and appointments. Schedule daily activities while maintaining an accurate and efficient clinic schedule. Organization of documentation and follow-up functions for nursing homes and inpatients. Assist WOC nurses with patient care as directed. Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:00 pm. No weekends, holidays or on-call. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. 1 year experience of medical secretary/terminology preferred. Mandatory Reporter training & BLS certificate is a plus; certification is required within six months of employment.
