Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time day/night position (36 hours per week) in our Nursing Department for an OB Registered Nurse (RN). OB Registered Nurse Responsibilities: Provide quality direct care to our inpatients and obstetrics patients. Monitor and assess maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic and Cerner. Administer medications including pain management options like epidurals and botulinum toxin treatments when appropriate, ensuring precise dosage and patient safety. Assist in c-section. Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00am - 7:00pm, 7:00pm - 7:00am) Every third weekend, every third holiday and occasional call. OB Registered Nurse Requirements: Licensed as an RN in Iowa and/or meets the requirements of multi-state licensure. ACLS and BLS a plus; certifications are required as an employee. Previous OB/Labor & Delivery experience. Mandatory Reporter training certificate required as an employee.
