Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a PRN- as needed position in our Urgent Care Clinic for a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant.

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Responsibilities:
The advanced nurse practitioner provides primary health care in the family practice realm by developing the role as the care provider and coordinator, educator, and consultant. The nurse practitioner functions to provide continuity of care, coordinates referrals, and ensures comprehensive health care of patients according to their needs through prevention, treatment, symptom management and education.
Saturday Weekend rotation every 8th weekend PRN for Saturday and Sunday Urgent Care to add additional providers during winter months.
Saturday Urgent Care open 8a-12p
Sunday Urgent Care open 1p-5p
License Requirements:
Graduate of NLN accredited school or registered nursing.
Master's Degree in Nursing required.
Must be licensed in the state of Iowa with a minimum of one year of experience.
ACLS/BLS a plus; certification is required as an employee.
Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee.
