Surgical Technician
As a Surgical Technician at Avera Marshall Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Provide direct resident care with compassion and precision.
- Utilize techniques of infection control/universal precautions to ensure patient safety.
- Verify operative procedure, operative site, surgeon, and consent before each procedure.
- Participate in the evaluation of new supplies, equipment, and/or instruments.
The ideal candidate will have a Technical Certificate from an Accredited Surgical Technologist Program and be Certified Surgical Tech (CST) or Tech in Surgery (TS-C). Experience in surgery, particularly in a multidisciplinary team environment, is preferred.
