Behavioral Health Technician

At Avera Marshall Hospital, we have an exciting opportunity for a Behavioral Health Technician. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with nurses, counselors, and patients to provide direct care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Assist with activities of daily living, including vital signs and collection of specimens
• Maintain accurate records and document patient information
• Participate in inter-disciplinary treatment team meetings and implement suicide precautions as needed
• Assess changes in patient behavior and notify RN or Counselor

Requirements:

• 1-3 years related experience and/or training
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to work night shift and rotating weekends
