What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Avenues Recovery Center?

- What You'll Do
- Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects,
- Assist with any building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior
- Assist with any technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance etc.)
- Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal etc.)
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment
- What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- If in recovery, a minim one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
- Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask
- General knowledge of carpentry and repair
